The Social Security Office facilitates your access to dental insurance claims without the need for upfront payment. Simply present your ID card; no additional paperwork or documentation is required on your part.

You contribute to the social security fund regularly every month. Besides using it for medical care when you're sick at your affiliated hospital, you can also use the dental benefit of 900 baht per year without needing to make any additional payment or claim. This dental benefit is available annually and cannot be carried over to the following year. Therefore, make sure to utilize your dental benefit before the end of the year for a hassle-free experience.

Have you ever wondered what else you can do with the regular contributions you make to the social security fund every month, apart from using it for healthcare or for covering expenses when you're sick? Another part of it serves as a benefit for dental care. Utilizing the social security dental benefit is available on an annual basis only. Therefore, don't just focus on work and forget to check your entitlement to use the social security dental benefit.

Where can I get social security dental services?

Individuals insured under Articles 33 and 39 are entitled to dental services at both public and private hospitals as well as dental clinics. However, these facilities must have a contract with the Social Security Office to provide social security dental services. Dental procedures can be performed without any upfront payment according to the entitlement received. The clinic will issue a receipt and a doctor's certificate, which can be used to claim reimbursement for medical expenses at the nearby Social Security Office.
